It’s done! I have written all the articles for Faith 365 which provides Bible verses and faith expression artworks for each day of the year. It consists of a series of articles that deals with faith expression of Bible verses, and the title of the series is “Faith 365: Bible Verses for the Days of the Year.” To view and enjoy God’s words, please copy and paste on a newly opened browser these links: https://www.alexmoises.com/eclectic-part-xiii-1 and https://www.alexmoises.com/eclectic-part-xiii-b-1 (Faith Expressions website), and https://alexmoi04.jimdofree.com/blog-expressions/?tag=Faith+365 (Expressions [FAB] website). Faith 365 started as a nebulous, yet-to-be-planned idea, one that was not achievable when I began publishing my faith expressions. It was a project that took many years and a whole lot of love to make.
Today is the 128th anniversary of Philippine independence. June 12 of every year is celebrated by Filipinos here and abroad. Happy Philippine Independence Day! Long Live the Philippines! Viva Filipinas! Mabuhay!
The opening ceremony for the Fifa World Cup 2026 will start soon and the opening game will be Mexico versus South Africa at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
A record number of MLS players will be playing at the World Cup 2026. Forty-five players! And they are the best players in the MLS. To mention some of them: Messi, Musa, Almiron, Freese, Son, Crépeau, Rodríguez, De Paul, Cubas, Dos Santos, St. Clair, Eustáquio, Roldan and Berhalter.
¡Hola!

Jesus said and I quote: “If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” – John 14:23
On my birthday, I received birthday greetings from my brother and sisters, my Little Angel Gabby, nephews, grandnieces, and others. And to my surprise, I received birthday greetings from Real Madrid and Liverpool. I really got a kick out of the video greeting from Real Madrid. Real class, I thought. Liverpool’s birthday greeting was accompanied by a kind of a sales pitch: a 10% discount if I buy from Liverpool’s shop. I didn’t buy because I have no need for it, but I thought 10% was a little bit stingy. I was happy for all the greetings. Thank you. Hala Madrid. Go Liverpool.
Listed on the website of Congressman Steve Scalise are some tips on how to prepare for the hurricane or typhoon season, and these tips are found at this address: https://scalise.house.gov/services/hurricane-preparedness. Here are three of these tips: 1) “Make plans to secure resources to protect your property, such as storm shutters or plywood for windows;” 2) “Assemble a disaster kit and ensure that it includes a battery-powered radio, flashlights, extra batteries, a first-aid kit, blankets, clothing, food and water, prescription medications, and medical supplies;” and 3) “Know how to shut off utilities.”
Jesus said and I quote: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10
Here is a very interesting article by Joel Kotkin. Its title is “SpaceX IPO Will Bolster American Tech Supremacy,” and it can be found at this address: https://jkotkin.substack.com/p/spacex-ipo-will-bolster-american. To get a glimpse of the contents of the article, I quote some lines from the article: “The coming IPO for SpaceX matters less for its gargantuan size than because it marks a dramatic change in the tech sphere… the SpaceX IPO represents a step toward a new age where the most valuable tech companies are centered around space. This signals a broader shift in investor confidence away from purely digital platforms and toward physical, infrastructure-heavy innovation…. SpaceX and other rising space firms are expanding the human horizon into space. The potential is almost incalculable. Global space industry revenues have grown to over $600 billion in the past few years and are projected to hit $1.8 trillion by 2035. Clearly, investors view the sector as a long-term economic frontier…. America now launches more orbital rockets than the rest of the world put together. In what has been an otherwise dispiriting 250th anniversary, the company and its competitors demonstrate that, whatever its blemishes, the United States is still the country forging the planetary future.”
Paris Saint-Germain won the UEFA Champions League final against Arsenal, and they deserved the championship. They played to win. The difference in completed passes between PSG and Arsenal was staggering: 806 for PSG to Arsenal’s 196. Arsenal practically “watched the game” instead of “played the game.” However, after the win by PSG, the streets of France and Paris erupted into riots again. Arsenal was the team which won the English Premiere League title for season 2025-26, and Arsenal fans celebrated their victory happily. That is what winning a championship in football and sports means: a community or a country with a shared desire and experience coming together. Congratulations, Arsenal!
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeat Arsenal on penalties to win the Champions League, joining the exclusive, elite group of football clubs to have won the league back-to-back.
English teams are dominating the football scene in Europe. Last May 20, Aston Villa defeated SC Freiberg of Germany to win its first ever UEFA Europa League title. Emiliano Buendía played the hero’s role for Aston Villa. Then, on May 27, Crystal Palace defeated Rayo Vallecano to claim its first ever UEFA Conference League title. Jean-Philippe Mateta scored the winning goal for Crystal Palace. On May 30 (May 31), Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) of France will meet Arsenal of England in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) final. Arsenal was the heavy favorite to win the championship during the group stage of the UCL while PSG became the favorite during the latter part of the UCL. This is going to be a very exciting final; it is a clash of two titans with contrasting styles of football.
Jesus said and I quote: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:34-35
The French Open is happening right now. The world’s best tennis players are playing in this tournament which will end on June 7.
And I wrote: “In the journey of faith, there will be hard days and dark nights. But trust in God. Remember, during your journey, God is holding you by your hand and guiding you, and when things get so terribly tough, He will carry you. Have your faith-filled journey to God’s kingdom.” – Alex Moises, Filipino Author and Artist

Jesus said and I quote: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” – John 3:16-17
It is summer in the Philippines, and it is very hot. The summer heat sometimes affects my health. My younger sister also has a health issue, but she is becoming a bit healthier. I take time to be with her. I pray for good health for everyone, and I pray for my Little Angel Gabby, who will be graduating from college next year.
Jesus said and I quote: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” – John 15:13
And I quote: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit….” – St. Paul, 1 Corinthians 13:13 - 1 Corinthians 14:1
Bayern FC are Bundesliga champions! As of today, they are on top of the Bundesliga table with 79 points as they lead Stuttgart by 4-1 near the hour mark.
Today, Inter Miami won their MLS game against Colorado by a score of 3-2. Lionel Messi scored the winning goal, and it was a stunning, magical goal. The match attracted more than 75,824 spectators, a record stadium attendance for 2026 and the second-highest single-game attendance in MLS history. This was the third away game of Inter Miami with stadium attendance surpassing the 70,000 mark. The MLS-Messi era!
And I quote: “Though he was in the form of God, he did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped. Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. Being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even death on a cross. Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above all other names, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should proclaim to the glory of God the Father: Jesus Christ is Lord.” – Philippians 2:6-11, St. Paul
And I quote: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7, (St. Paul)
“Voting in California: All in Favor, Say ‘Arf’” is a WSJ article with this address which you can copy and paste on your browser: https://www.wsj.com/opinion/voting-in-california-all-in-favor-say-arf-dbdbaee4. The article begins with this paragraph: “Democrats in Sacramento have sought to ease voting requirements to the maximum extent possible. The result? Even pets have managed to cast ballots—or at least their owners have on their behalf.” In essence the article deals with election integrity requirements in California – specifically, voters ID. Election integrity – that is, voters ID – is a national issue in the US. The Democratic Party is against the use of valid voters ID as a requirement for voting while the Republican Party favors the use of voters ID. My comment about the issue was: An overwhelming majority of the American public supports voters ID. They know that voters ID make elections fair and clean. Why can the Democratic [Party] not understand the wisdom of the people?
And I quote: “Faith is part of who I am.” – US Congressman Steve Scalise; And I wrote: “Whether it is a small step or a leap forward, faith will lead you to God.” – Alex Moises, Filipino Author and Artist
And I wrote: “‘… My Lord and My God.’ (John 20:28 / KJV) This line was uttered by Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus. He did not believe that Jesus rose from the dead even when it was his fellow disciples who told him that they had seen Jesus, and this was the reason why Thomas the Apostle was labeled the Doubting Thomas. Said Thomas: ‘Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.’ One week after he made this declaration, Jesus appeared before him and told Thomas, ‘Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.’ It was during this encounter that he made this poignantly painful yet divinely inspired confession about Jesus: ‘My Lord and My God’ – that Jesus was (and is) the perfectly exact image of the invisible God, that he was before all things came into existence, that he was (and is) the source and author of life, that he had (and has) preeminence over all created things, and that he was (and is) Lord to whom every knee must bend.” – Alex Moises, Filipino Author and Artist
Christ is risen! And “glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” Happy Easter!
And I quote: “See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. Just as there were many who were appalled at him – his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness – so he will sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.” – Isaiah 52:13-15, Prophet Isaiah
And I wrote: “It is the Virgin’s womb that bore the Wonderful Child, Just Joseph who was standing by and angels singing praises to the Star of Bethlehem and the lovely Lamb of Calvary. It is a promised fulfilled and the Light shines on.” – Alex Moises, Filipino Author and Artist
And I quote: “Nothing is hopeless that is right.” – Susan B. Anthony, American Suffragist and Great Reformer
And I quote: “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:5, Prophet Isaiah
And I quote: “We must always be ready to make sacrifices for the great causes; only in that way shall we live to keep our souls alive.” – Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of the UK 1940-1945 and 1951-1955 and Legendary World War II Figure
Here’s an article about the Artemis II flight to the moon on Wall Street Journal (WSJ) website: “‘Full Send’—NASA Launches Astronauts on Historic Moon Flight” at https://www.wsj.com/science/space-astronomy/nasa-launches-astronauts-on-historic-moon-flight-da6703da?mod=hp_lead_pos9 – the link which you can copy and paste on your browser. It is a refreshingly good news and quite uplifting. Congressman Steve Scalise posted a note on his X blog about Artemis II and I quote: “Godspeed to our Artemis II astronauts as they embark on the first manned mission around the moon since 1972 aboard the most powerful rocket ever built – made possible by the hardworking team at Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans! Congrats, @NASA on this historic achievement.”
Jesus said and I quote: “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me – just as the Father knows me and I know the Father – and I lay down my life for the sheep.” – John 10:14-15
And I quote: “What defines us is not the devastation, but instead the strength and resilience of our people.” – US Congressman Steve Scalise on the Hurricane Katrina Event
Jesus said and I quote: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
And I quote: “If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain.” – Emily Dickinson, American Poet
We both have health issues and we’re both in our old age, and today and the other day, we walked slowly together in the morning for a few minutes – maybe 10 to 20 minutes – to keep ourselves healthy and strong again. Every day, I spend time with my younger sister to support her.
The article’s title is “FA hits back at Reform’s ‘utter woke nonsense’ claim,” and the link to the article which you can copy and paste (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/03/25/fa-hits-back-at-reform-braverman-utter-woke-nonsense-claim/?__vfz=medium%3Dtray_notification#vf-46c0cb9a-6357-4286-b6cf-de679d01a07a). My comment: Hire the best person for the job! That is the best solution. Hiring someone on the basis of skin color or race is, at the very least, a form of entitlement. Do not underestimate the capability of a group of people simply because they have a different skin color or come from a different race. At its worst, hiring someone on the basis of skin color or ethnic background is discrimination. In addition, about 15-17 percent of the U.K. population belong to the minority population. Hiring 30 percent ethnic minority coaching target clearly discriminates the white native population. That will create division and does not do justice to everyone, including the so-called “historically” under-represented groups. Finally, the FA needs to provide a timeline when these “historically under-represented groups” emerged.
And I wrote: “These are two essential components of real love: patience and kindness. These components make it possible for a person to share real love, to forgive someone else’s shortcomings, to keep supporting someone who seems to have become a burden, to remain loyal to someone who have had a string of bad luck, to hope for a solution to a particularly difficult problem, to endure “dark periods” in life, or to keep a relationship forever in spite of the difficulties inherent in the relationship.” – Alex Moises, Filipino Author and Artist
Streamed live and free on Apple TV, the Inter Miami game against New York City. Fans at the stadium were cheering, happily and side by side, their favorite teams. This is a phenomenon that is seen only in the MLS Messi era. You can’t find this in other football leagues…. From the time Messi arrived at Inter Miami, the club has been transformed into a powerhouse team at par with any world-class football team. Inter Miami has won the Leagues Cup in 2023, the Supporters’ Shield in 2024, and the Eastern Conference Championship and the MLS Cup in 2025. Messi is the first ever back-to-back winner of the Landon Donovan MLS MVP, securing the honor in 2024 and 2025.
And I quote: “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” – Colossians 1:15-17, St. Paul
Watched the games between Real Madrid versus Manchester City and between Liverpool and Galatasaray. Stunning performances displayed by Real Madrid and Liverpool. They qualified for the quarterfinals.
It’s been almost three months since I found out from my doctor that I have cataract in my left eye. There was an improvement when I applied the medicines that were prescribed but it still has a problem and under observation. I continue applying the prescribed medicine. Hopefully, I will not need to undergo a procedure. My younger sister, too, have a health issue. I spend time with her to let her know that she is supported. I give her treats often.
